When patients experience an injury, surgery or even a stroke, accomplishing even the simplest physical tasks that we take for granted can be a struggle. In this case, we will suggest physical therapy. A form of rehabilitative health that focuses on helping patients either regain or improve gross motor skills that require full-body movement. These types of daily functions could include sitting upright, standing, walking, and running. Once the injury is assessed correctly, we will plan a PT program that could include stretches for muscles and joints or strengthening exercises to prevent any type of atrophy.
